Justin Campbell - Your Instructor
Justin Campbell is an all-rounder whose life-long obsession with motor sport started at age four although, without access to track time or availability of karts, he remained on the sidelines as a spectator until he was 16. From his early races at Old Bushy Park, he was frequently a front-runner, with podium finishes to his credit, then a seven-time race-winner on his way to finishing second in Group 3/Class II in 2012.
With BMW his preferred competition car, dating back to his early days, he has also made an impact in rallying. Crowned the Barbados Rally Club’s Rookie of the Year in 2014, he went on to win SuperModified 3 in Sol Rally Barbados two years in a row, also finishing ninth overall on the second occasion in Sol RB17. He returned to circuit racing at the redeveloped Bushy Park, enjoying success in the Easykart 125cc class (Most Improved Driver in 2015) and the Suzuki Challenge Series Swift Cup, in which he contested the 2017 season: he won three of his 11 races, with three further podium finishes, one pole position and three fastest laps, finishing second at year-end.
Away from competition, studies at London South Bank University earned him a BSc Hons in Mechanical Engineering Design, while he put his media profile to good use by launching the #RAY Project in 2017 to identify and nurture emerging talent and, where possible, support their goals through proceeds from the sales of the CRT branded products and apparel.
