Volkswagen Polo RX completes ROC 2014 car line-up
The stunning Volkswagen Polo RX Supercar will be in action at this weekend's Race Of Champions at Bushy Park Barbados.
The cars have now arrived in Barbados fresh from taking part in this year's FIA World Rallycross Championship. Featuring permanent four-wheel drive, they have more than 600bhp at their disposal and take just 1.9 seconds to go from 0-100kmh - faster even than a Formula 1 car.
The VW Polo RX completes a line-up of spectacular machinery that will be thrashed round ROC's unique parallel track - featuring the Ariel Atom Cup, Audi R8 LMS, KTM X-Bow, Euro NASCAR, ROC Car and Robby Gordon's Stadium Super Trucks.
The cars will be raced by a ROC 2014 field featuring motor sport legends drawn from series including Formula 1, Le Mans, MotoGP, IndyCar, NASCAR, V8 Supercars, WTCC and World Rallycross. Drivers are heading to Barbados from all corners of the world including the USA, Europe, South America and Australia.
