Barbados Motoring Federation 2024 calendar is out!

The Barbados Motoring Federation’s (BMF) calendar for 2024, published on December 4, lists 54 events across a broad range of motor sport disciplines to run between February and December. As it announced next year’s programme, the BMF also confirmed that nearly 400 Barbadians and 100 visitors had competed in motor sport events in the island in 2023, the overseas numbers boosted by more than 40 newcomers who raced at the first Caterham Caribbean Cup at Bushy Park.

Our facility is set once again to play a major part in island motor sport, hosting events run by most of the BMF’s member clubs. First to arrive will be the Barbados Karting Association (BKA) with eight dates running from February 4 until November on the various configurations made possible by our many kart links. The Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Autocross Championship will again be played out between the cones laid out on sections of the International Circuit; next year’s events start on February 17, with the fifth and last round in mid-November.

The Barbados Association of Dragsters & Drifters (BADD), which successfully concluded its 2023 season here on December 10 (pictured), will return on March 10, with its final event scheduled for December. The Barbados Auto Racing League (BARL) and Bushy Park Motor Sports Inc (BPMSI) each have race meetings listed on the calendar, with a jointly-organised event planned for July.

In addition to the events listed on the BMF calendar, which includes only those for which the island’s governing body of motor sport issues permits, we will be hosting our regular BPCI Track Days that are listed below, also our popular Street Digs which is an activity we are keen to grow, so keep an eye on our social media platforms for news of dates.
